Well it was good to have Pastor Stacey and Tina back from their trip to Florida safe and sound....We were also glad that the weather was a little cooler than it has been the last few days, but is a lot warmer than what I hear from up NORTH weather is.... I guess I'm a softy but I don't like cold weather below 50 any more so am glad I can wait until much later to travel up to see the kids and grand kids....Oh well we all must do what we have to do....
Pastor Stacey brought the message today from the Book of John, Chapter 1, starting with verse 29 thu verse 34 with the theme of "Behold the Lamb of God"....This tells of John the Baptist who was baptizing people at the river....Jesus came to him to be baptized and John proclaimed him to be the Lamb of God...This is a great message to be studied for it tells of how people ask John of what he knew of Jesus....You must study this lesson for yourself to grasp the word for your faith to grow....
Remember to pray for all those that must travel on the roads home and for any one that you hear of that are sick....Pray for any of the Magnolia family that you think of cause you never know when they may need prayer for some reason of other...God Bless All...See you in Church next week....
This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located.
