This was a cool day in deep south Texas but the spirit in church was warm for the soul...Pastor Stacey brought another great message from Gods Word to the people of the church this morning again....The message came from the Book of John, Chapter 5, starting from verse 1 thu verse 16 with the theme of "Have Faith and Obey Gods Word"....This lesson tells of the man by the pool of water waiting to be healed for 38 years, but was unable to reach the water before others to be healed.....Jesus ask the man if he would be healed and he said he had no man to help him reach the water.....Jesus told him to rise , take up his bed and to walk.....The man was made whole, took up his bed and walked.....The lesson goes on to tell of the things that happened afterward that cause unrest with some of the people....This is a great lesson for us to study and think on for sure....As this was the first Sunday of the month Communion was served at the end of the service......After the services breakfast was served for all that wished to participate....As usual it was very good with much fellowship for all....
Remember to continue to pray for all the sick that you hear of and any one that may come to mind as they may need prayer to get thu something at that time....God Bless All......See you in Church next week....
This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other.
