Mondays photos

As I was walking past the mailboxes I spotted this pretty in pink flower so grabbed a quick shot of it. You can see in the picture how very dry it is here. The Rio Grande Valley is considered to be in an extreme drought area. My son Jason asked me when we last saw rain and we cannot even remember for sure. Sometime in December I suppose but it was barely enough to call it rain and definitely not a drought buster.
But this little pinky has survived and blossomed.

It isn't often we get a picture of this corner of the room during Coffee Hour

New residents pictured below Karen and Rich Steil have purchased the former Alt residence on Magnolia St. Stop by and say,"Hi"!.

And new residents Gloria and Bob Whitcomb have purchased the Gehman residence and the Gehman's purchased the Sturgeons place. The Sturgeons will come back next year if they can but will stay in a motorhome.

This moving around and shuffling happens every year and it is always amazing how much of it takes place.
A big welcome to all our new people!
