Things and people are getting testy around here. We come here so we will not be confined to the indoors. Many of us have been confined to the indoors far too often and far too long this winter. We get a glimmer of hope with a nice day every ten days or so but then it is right back to the cold drizzled gloom.
Don't misunderstand we are very grateful that we can be here and that we have our health and we can be among good friends. But we are longing for the sunshine, being able to visit on street corners, planning outings to South Padre, sitting on a patio with cool drinks sharing jokes and memories. Oh, Those are the days!!
Hope...we still have hope.
This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located. So continue to let us know where you are and what is on your plate.
