Well we have a couple of nice days weather and this morning was a good one.... I see by the weather man the next couple will be just down right cold and then we will see a warm up again...Well we just have to take what is given us and try to keep smiling....
We had a nice group of worshipers this morning to hear Pastor Stacey bring the message...It's always nice to hear the Word of God being bought us as most of us don't study the Bible as often as we should...I'm just as guilty as anyone of being lax in that area, so the messages on Sunday feed the soul in those that attend the services...Pastor Stacey brought the message today from the Book of John , Chapter 5 starting with Verse 1 with the theme of "New Beginnings".....This tells of the man that was at the edge of the pool of water at Bethesda....Jesus ask the man if he wanted to get well and the man said he had no one to help him into the pool when the water is stirred...Jesus told the man to "Get up! Pick up your mat and walk"....The man was cured and picked up his mat and walked, thus he had a new beginning....Each of us at various times in our lives have had the chance to pick up our mat and walk thus have new beginning on starting something new in our lives....This is a great study and a lesson in faith for all to study and learn...Take the time to read the verses yourself and study....At the end of the service communion was served as it was the first Sunday of the month....
Take the time to pray for all that are sick and those on the road....Sometimes someone may come to your mind that may need a prayer, don't be afraid to pray for them as it may be just the thing that will help them thru a bad time or situation....God Bless All.....See you in Church next week...
This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located. So continue to let us know where you are and what is on your plate.
