Actually, the weather is good. It is warm and fairly dry. Might need a light jacket in the morning and then the sun breaks up the fog and it turns into a normal day. The fog has been the top news part of the weather and tonight they showed a picture of the causeway on Padre and it was a gray wall. Zero visibility! They were cautioning people to go very slow. I have driven in zero visibility one time in my life and it will stick with me forever more. So I was having the utmost sympathy for those trying to make their way across that bridge.
Today at coffee hour we had four new residents stand up to be introduced. That is a breath of fresh air. So things are buzzing along with people taking part in the wide variety of activities taking place and not one of them need to drive in fog.
This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located. So continue to let us know where you are and what is on your plate.
