It's a kind of wet day here in the valley this Sunday but at least it was pleasant temperatures as spring is just around the corner so to speak...Any way it's a great day to come to church at Magnolia... Today Pastor Stacey brought the message from several places in the Scriptures with the theme of "Renewing our Faith"...This was a lesson on how we should always be striving to renew our faith in the Word of God and faith in our hearts of the power and forgiveness of our Lord....We should always be careful that we shouldn't let the things of this world take the place of God in our lives... It's so easy for any of us to let our eyes stray from the path that God wants us to lead when there is so many so called bumps in the road of our daily living, and we all have them...These thoughts are something to think on and study to see if we at times are tempted by the things of this world and take our eyes off of the Lord....This is something that we have to think and study for ourselves for only God and we know what our thoughts and actions really are....
Remember to continue to pray for all the sick that you hear of and remember to pray for all those that are traveling on the road this time of year....God Bless All.... See you in church next week.....
This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family.
