This weather is hard to figure out this year in deep south Texas, because if you don't like it just wait a couple of days and it will change one way or the other....By the looks of the weather up NORTH and some of the tailings of the bad stuff down here the old groundhog must have known what he was talking about with predicting more winter before spring would get here....Well we have to blame something I guess...
Today's message was brought by Pastor Stacey continuing the study of the Book of John, Chapter 8, starting with Verse 21 Thu Verse 30 with the theme of "Who is Jesus?"....This tells of Jesus teaching the people in the temples when he said to them "I am going away and you will look for me...You will die in your sin..Where I go , you cannot come." ....This made the Jews have many questions for Jesus as they could not understand what Jesus meant....Jesus told them where he came from and what would happen if they didn't believe in him and the words that he brought to them...You must study this lesson and read and study the words that Jesus told them as they also apply to us....A great study to learn for yourself as only reading the word helps us to understand how it applies to us...
Remember to continue to pray for the sick and anyone that may come to mind for prayer is very powerful in getting the attention of God in our lives...God Bless All....See you in church next week....
This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family.
