This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located. Hustle and bustleless!
The most noise these days is from the birds. The streets are fairly empty and quiet. The pace has slowed. The highways and byways of the Rio Grande Valley are very different this time of year. I like it when it is busy with many activities happening but I also like it when the pace slows. The grocery store aisles can be navigated without incident. Being the small town girl that I am, I appreciate the change to a more laid back way of life. Variety is indeed the spice of life.
