Like the first robin appearing up north the appearance of 1015 onions down south is a surefire way to know it is Spring. I used to think that 1015 onions were connected by name to the highway that leads into Mexico but that is not the case. They are named 10/15 because that is the date they are planted. This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family.
