Peggy, Butch and I walk 2 times a day at 10 and 4. We walk the entire park which measures out to be 1.2 miles each time, almost exactly what I do on the bike trail in Iowa. I do it in one time in Iowa and as early in the day as possible
These are photos from today's 10 o'clock jaunt.
This piece of artwork is in the Domer's front yard. It is a cross made from railroad spikes
And then we have Chet Johnson's papaya tree. It is low enough this year to be easy pickin's when the time is right.
This dead tree has been here for several years. It is leaning enough this year that making it through the season is very iffy.
This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located. So continue to let us know where you are and what is on your plate.
