This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located. So continue to let us know where you are and what is on your plate.

March is when
People are starting the reverse flow heading north and most often the temps here are getting plenty warm bringing about thoughts of spring and summer. Of course they usually run into reality on the Missouri border and become aware that Spring and Summer are back where they came from and not yet where they are going. This year is different. It may be the year you should reassess your schedule and perhaps hang around awhile longer. The propane man has been able to feed his children well this winter. I would like to not see him for awhile. Wouldn't it be great to have a month of not running the furnace or the air conditioner? Perhaps March will be that way for us. The 10 day outlook is nearly ideal and we can have a little dream of nearly ideal. Here's hoping!!
