We visited Max today. He was much as we had expected. He is pretty much bedfast and was groggy while were there from the meds they give him for his itching. We did have a nice visit between naps. He is in a lovely place. It makes it so comfortable for Ramona and the family and they do everything possible to make Max comfortable.
We had an uneventful trip back. The interstates were in good condition, although lots of snow/ice around Oklahoma City on the side streets and trees etc. We left around 6:00 a.m. Sat. morning and arrived in Corning Sun. at 3:00 p.m.
Remember Max, Ramona and family in your prayers. Ramona certainly appreciated the telephone call and prayer from Rev. Stacie.
This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located. So continue to let us know where you are and what is on your plate.
