I had a note from Elaine Misfelt today telling me that LeRoy is going to get a new Aorta Valve on Tuesday, December 7. This is a fairly new procedure in that they go through the groin and set the new valve inside the old one. He should be home the next day and the procedure is called TAVR.
Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers for a full and speedy recovery for LeRoy. Modern medicine has come such a long way just from a few years ago when the whole process would have been done much differently.
