This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located. This mornings walk...
Peggy and I started on our 10:00 am walk and I stepped into the pool hall where the guys are getting lessons from the master in covering pool tables in the most professional way. Don Louks is the master. Magnolia has the reputation of having the finest pool tables in the valley and that is not a joke. It is, however, an honor the guys would like to ensure for the future. Seated in the foreground is Don Louks and from left to right around him is Jim Spangler, Don Farrell, Dick Cleveland and Butch Brooker. Jim Rader was in on it the day before. I sure hope I didn't miss anyone.
