Hooray at last we are getting some nice weather, but it's always nice to be able to come to Magnolia to attend Church Service with the Magnolia Family... We have been having some nice attendance Sundays regardless of the weather , but it's always easier to get out when the weather is nice instead being cold and wet... Oh well we can't control the weather , we just need to be glad that our pipes aren't freezing and we don't have to shovel snow and slip on the ice...
Pastor Stacey brought the message continuing on the study of the Book of John, Chapter 7 starting with Verse 1 Thu Verse 24 with the theme of " Jesus's Time"....This is a study of Jesus telling his brothers that he wasn't going with them to Judea for the Festival of Tabernacles... His brothers said to him come to Judea so your disciples may see the works you do...Jesus told them to go as his time had not yet come....This tells of how even his brothers didn't believe in him...This is a chapter everyone should read and study for it tells of how the Jewish leaders there were looking for a way to kill him...There is much to learn and study...Please read for yourself for the reading of the Word of God is refreshing for the soul...
Remember to continue to pray for all that are sick and those on the road...We all need to pray for the leaders of our country that God will guide them...We need to realize that prayer is one thing that we can do to be a benefit for our country and government...God Bless All....See you in church next week...
This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located.
