Next cold front due within the hour...

But it has been very nice and warm. 
The bobbleheads have been enjoying the poolAND
one of the advantages of retirement is being able to give free rein to your creativity.

Kay Voss has been very busy indeed unleashing her creative bug. I love her bowling ball guy. He is very dapper indeed.



 Kay became disenchanted with her garbage can  and went straight to work. First a coat of black paint to give a clean palette and then with the help of a lace curtain and some green paint a masterpiece is born.

In craft class we have been working on button dolls. This first one is waiting to make her trip back to Jefferson Iowa to live with Pat Limburg Rusnak- a classmate of mine who donated the buttons. (Barb Brooker)

This one is Rita's- Mary Bruun's friend.


And the one below is Kay Stilson's ,also bound for Iowa to live with Kay's sister Denise.
