We were to Wausau this afternoon to see the surgeon. Karl is set is have his surgery Tues. December 4th.
We have to be at the Weston Center Monday a 8am for pre-op tests and get a tour of the facility and rehab center. That will take most of the morning. Because we have to be there so early we are leaving Pelican Lake in the afternoon and staying in the Fairchild motel right near the hospital. Tues morning he has to be there a 5am. Surgery is scheduled for 7:30 and should take 2 1/2 to 4 hours. They told us he would be up and walking in the afternoon. Has to be there to 4 days. What they are going to do is "repair of ascending aortic aneurysm".
