A Letter from former owners of Magnolia Park, Sandi and Randy Greer:
Lucy Schaeffer just gave me your Magnolia News today so we got to see all the pictures of your snow. You guys had more snow than we have.
We do have more cold, but I don't seem to mind it. And I'm not having all those hot flashes. Thank goodness!
Sorry we didn't get to see you before we left. There was much confusion at the closing (I think all closings do that) and then we had to head up here to Idaho & figure out what we plan for the rest of our life. I'm selling real estate (which is what I did for years here, & the market is real good here) & Randy is working with a builder to build steel buildings. We get to see alot of our grand daughters & that is a pure blessing. We bought a house that is 4.1 miles from my daughter & about the same from my mother...with us in the middle.
I have heard through the grapevine that there are all types of rumors about us. The truth of the matter is we just decided we wanted to be closer to our family & we feel good about selling real estate here as it's growing with leaps & bounds. Along with the fact that several people were wanting to buy the park. We are happy here, and plan to eventually have visits down there, but our work will be here. I don't know if you heard or not but Randy's Mom passed away this summer down there. It sure put the writing on the wall about how fast life passes us by & we have only
one chance to do everything we want to do, so we better do it.
I miss my friends, but I don't miss the rumors. My life seems to be enough of a soap opera without people inventing things.
I've heard the banana trees got frozen. But if they will just cut them down to about 2 or 3 feet, they should come back.
It sure seemed funny to see snow there.
Tell everyone hi, Sandi & Randy
