This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located. Everything is bigger in Texas!
They say everything is bigger in Texas and here are just a couple of pictures to show you how big things can be. The first is a Prickly Pear Cactus taken a couple of years ago. The next is just a part of a tree. The thing is HUGE and lastly is a Bougainvillea. No it isn't really big but it does have some of the biggest, sharpest thorns on it you have ever seen. It's a beautiful shrub but oh so mean!
