This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located. Tis the season
We are seeing a few new folks arriving nearly every day. We are not full yet but fuller than we have been. After a very humid day a couple of days ago it has cooled a bit and is drier. The problem with that is that it starts off a bit chilly in the morning and then warms up considerably through the day. Makes it hard to decide how to dress in the morning. If you put jeans on in the morning you are wishing they were shorts by 2:00 pm but is it worth changing at that time? I know the sympathy level north of the Mason-Dixon line is very very low. We understand.
