It isn't the heat it's the humidity! All you Midwest folks that remember those steamy July and August days where the temperatures are high and the humidity is higher. That, my dear friends, is what we have here in Sunny South Texas . Am I complaining? Not for a nano second. Last year it was cold and rainy for a good part of our winter season. It is sure making up for it this winter season so far. We most certainly have summer in the middle of winter. That is the good news. The bad news is that our pool is not open and hasn't been for about three weeks. No word yet as to when it will be either. The pool rats are not happy.
This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located.
