The park is filling up. There does not seem to be as many here yet as there was last year at this time but with the blizzard going on up north I am guessing our flock will be arriving very soon. They will be able to thaw out as it was a balmy 80 degrees today. I tend to get quite busy and then get behind on posting the good stuff here. That is not likely to improve much as Butch and I have taken on a workkamping position here at Magnolia Park. We feel it is the ideal job as we are after-hour and weekend contact people. So no office hours and no maintenance hours for Butch. The park has lacked anyone on site to take care of things in off hours. We saw a need and asked to fill it. We are being sufficiently compensated.
Many of the usual activities we have all winter have started as the chairman of the activities arrive. The bikers will be going on their first excursion tomorrow morning. Shuffleboard has started and there is always numerous card games going on at various times throughout the day. The first craft class will be next Monday and we will be working on a Christmas centerpiece. A picture will be posted here when they are completed.
