This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located. So continue to let us know where you are and what is on your plate.

Chico's Story
Through the screen door-
Chico's owners Chet and Irma Johnson have had Siamese cats in the past and they were without a kitty to love for awhile. Irma had her heart set on a flame (orange)-point Siamese and she was going to hold out for one. They went to shelters and told their friends they were looking for a flame-point Siamese kitten...all to no avail.
This fall they came to Texas and there was a "white" kitten wandering around the park for several days. Cynthia Daigle took it upon herself to find a home for the kitten and someone told her about Chet and Irma so she took the kitten to them and they exclaimed with delight because it is indeed a flame-point Siamese. Chico is happy to find a home with them and they are happy to have him. Isn't it strange how things work out?
