I received a note from Mabel Zoot yesterday and she told me she had made one of these rugs and it had taken her about two weeks working on it around four hours/day. It's so pretty!! I looked up how they are made and it looks pretty tedious to me. This one is made from fabric triangles as opposed to what some of these rugs are made out of.
I also heard from Peggy and she sent me a photo of the sky now where they live. It is very much better than a week or so ago that's for sure. Everyone out there is grateful to the firefighters for all they have done. Those of us who have never experienced fire, or floods either really have no idea how awful it must really be when it's your property and lives that are in danger.
