From Former Resident Gerry Hansen

Just to let you all know that I did survive cancer and am feeling good. I do have mitral valve problems which the Doctors want me to have surgery for but I am not ready for it yet.  I moved into a new apartment last June and I really like it.  Seems like the days go by so fast.  I have two kitty cats--Fancy is the one that was in Texas with me for three years and Mikey who is very lovable will be three.  They share my computer room.  I still remember all the good times I had at Magnolia--golfing--cards--parties, shuffle board and the great pool.   I miss all of them.  We have had a hard Winter with lots of snow and cold but Spring is just around the corner.  I still enjoy Casinos and I drive to the one several times a month as it is just 30 miles away.  My friend Bob lives just a block away and we play hand and foot once in awhile.
