Today was the first Sunday of March already and it seems that the season is just flying by for all the family of Magnolia...There is already talk of going back home up NORTH for the summer...It doesn't seem possible the the season is almost over for the year...Just remember that just because it's finally getting warm down here in deep south Texas that doesn't mean that it's warm up NORTH yet...
Well today at Sunday Service we had a great group of people for the teaching of the word of GOD...Today's theme was "We have the power through Christ Jesus"....Pastor Stacey gave a great sermon with much to consider and study...We need to realize just how powerful the word of GOD can be in our lives....Also today Communion was given in remembrance of Christ Jesus....After close of the service the congregation was able to partake in breakfast for all that wished to eat and fellowship together...I know that we could smell the good food cooking during the service and it did make you hungry for the food as well as the word of GOD...Thanks for all the cooks and workers that contributed their effort...Remember to pray for one another, cause you never know when our brother or sister needs it most....
This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located. So continue to let us know where you are and what is on your plate.
