This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located. Just Peachy
We went on our annual peach picking venture to Arkansas again this year. Picked 1206 pounds in 4 hours again. Sold all that we wanted (saved some for ME) and still have people calling about them! They were really good, some were 12 inches in diameter, and weighed 1 pound! Big fruit this year. I canned, made jam, made syrup, froze pies and saved some in refrig for eating.
