Marlene and Jack
This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located. So continue to let us know where you are and what is on your plate.

It starts
We are seeing a trickling in of our Magnolia family. This next week should bring in nearly everyone that plans to be here this season. The directory will see a record number of changes this year if the trend continues. Also of note: If there are any of you chilling your bones in the north land and failed to make reservations- No problem!!
There are plenty of empty spaces in our park and in others. So dig out of that drift and get on the road with the compass set on S.
See you soon!!

Fill 'er up
The park is filling up and it will be even more so this coming week. The next two and half months are the busy time for Magnolia Park. Each year it amazes me how much fun gets crammed into those three months. I hate to admit it but I rarely think about how cold it is up north as we are basking in the warmth of the South Texas sun. Perhaps basking is not the right word. It is really hard to find time for basking.
Christmas Parade 2010
Our Christmas Parade took place yesterday afternoon, followed by Christmas songs, ice cream and cake in Allen Hall. A very good time was enjoyed by all.

Sunday Service
As usual this morning services were held at Magnolia with quite a few worshipers attending to hear the lesson for the week....The theme of the lesson was "Keep your prayers simple"...Quite an interesting lesson with much to study and think on...Pastor taught that we should start talking to GOD for the things in life that we would want to come about, or for sickness to be healed, for answers to problems in our daily life that we need help with...We just need to remember that GOD is in control of every thing so that's who we should go to...Prayer can do much for all that will ask and humble themselves before GOD...Remember to continue to pray for the many that are sick and traveling on the road....GOD BLESS ALL...

Take a closer look...
This cactus is over by Vera Salmon's place. You should stop and take a look and say "Hi " to Vera while you are at it.
The theme for this years Christmas tree in Allen Hall is Angels. Apparently there are more angels than will fit on the tree. This too is worth a closer look.

Sunday at Magnolia
Well the weather is just a little cool today but the service at church gave everyone a warm feeling by sharing good fellowship and great teaching from Pastor Stacey's lesson....The theme today was " Where are you in your prayer life?"....It was brought out by Pastor that we has Christians have gotten away from prayer some how and we need to get back to what the bible says....God listens for our prayers and will act on them if we but ask...This country needs to get back to the Christian principles that it was founded on and it will if we just start to pray and act upon it...A great lesson for sure and much to think on....Remember to pray for those that are sick and on the road...GOD BLESS ALL....
