from the Turners

A letter and picture from the Turners. That white stuff is still up there!!!

Barb
Greetings from Manitoba Canada
We are the Turners that rented the trailer on lot 446 for Feb. and March from George and Vera. We also have the puppie called Tia, she is the white one that was not to friendly that you have a picture posted of her on your web site.
We had a great two months in your park this winter and if the good lord is willing we will be back next winter.
We check your web site every day and think it is great keep up the good work.
Because of your web site, we where able to convince my sister and husband to fly down to Magnolia Park early in March. They came from Edmonton Alberta Canada. They where only there for five days, but we are working on them to become winter Texans especially in Magnolia Park. The snow is still on the ground up here allthough it is starting to show signs of warming up. Spring is only a month or so away. We cannot plant a garden or put flowers out side before the first of June for fear of frost damage.
I am sending you a picture of our truck and driveway. It will be a while before we see green grass.
Yours truly
Rae and Julie Turner and Tia

More Talent show pictures tomorrow

Progreso

http://shop-progreso.com/

Gary Hearl of Newton Iowa is our neighbor two spots east of us. He took his motorcycle to Progreso today to have pictures painted on it. It turned out great. I will take pictures tomorrow and put them on this site. Pictures will be on the progreso website (http://shop-progreso.com/) on Monday Gary was told. Click on Spray Art. After a quick glance I am rather impressed with their website.

Awesome Library -

"Awesome Library organizes the Web with 26,000 carefully reviewed resources, including the top 5 percent in education.' Here's a special resource for library-goers, arranged by type presentation as well as topic. Just click on the door through which you'd like to enter to start your library tour be it as a Teacher, Kid, Teen, Parent, Librarian
or College Student. The various topics listed will be appropriate to the door through which you entered. There's even a feature, Awesome
Talkster, that is downloadable; 'Talkster combines a browser, directory, search engine, and text-to-voice technology.' Coupled with the standard
library resources, the talking feature 'allows you to select online text and have it read to you.' What a great resource for those vision impaired visitors in addition to having the capability for helping improve reading skills!

I just discovered I could do this! That is why you are seeing my computer screen. I am so easily entertained!!

The following is correspondence between Bill Brooker and myself.

Dear Bill
We continually get inquiries as to your health. The stories that are
going around are unbelievable! Tonight we heard that one of the stories is that you had brain cancer!! I have assured everyone that asks that you are on the mend and that your problem IS fluid in your ear. Thought you'd like to know.;-)
Till next time... Barb

Barb-- Today I called and got to Ear Doctor, and I walked out of his office 50% better and I am on the mend! Took me the 3rd Doc. to get one who knew what he was doing!!!!! He said the ear drops by first doc. are for swimmers ear, get rid of, 100$ worth of pills from doc. 2 don't take
only when sick-throw them away- and He did not prescribe any pills--- I
