The first Saturday of every month Magnolia Park hosts a garage sale and tomorrow will be the day. Members of the Magnolia Park association can obtain for a small fee a table in Allen Hall to display their items. Today( Friday) is set- up day with the sale that is open to the public starting tomorrow at 8:00 AM and continuing till noon. There will also be a lunch tomorrow and the menu will be carrot cake, sloppy joes and chips. The prices are very reasonable and this is a popular part of the sale day as well.
Living in an RV much of the year as we do I save up items that I need to clear out and once a year I participate in the garage sale to give us some extra "living room". Becoming uncluttered is a special feeling we look forward to each December.
This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located. So continue to let us know where you are and what is on your plate.
