This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located. Bud Mier's passing (friend of Betty Lev)
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Louis "Bud" Mier, 90, Lakefield, Minn., died Tuesday in Sanford USD Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lakefield. Visitation will continue from 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at the church. Father James Seitz will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
