Word received about Jack Oswald

Jack Oswald

Just heard that Jack has given up.  He is refusing food, water and his medications.  They have brought in Hospice.  All prayers would be welcome.

From Barb B.:
Oftentimes we do not remember people because they were before our time or our memory fails us but even so these folks were a part of our Magnolia family so lets say a prayer for Jack.
I remember Jack.

Stronger warnings to stay out of Mexico.

It seems there has been an increase in kidnappings so they have strengthened the warnings about not going there but if you insist on going, they urge you not to show any displays of wealth such as jewelry or cameras etc.

Park News

From Linda Kraft:
Some of the summer residents had an opportunity to gather in the Little Hall this morning (8-19) with Steve and Waneta.
We were able to discuss what is going on in the park and what things we hope to get done.  The pool and hot tub have  experienced many problems since May and still are not working properly.  This is being addressed and hopefully will be fixed soon.
Flushing the sewer lines out and working on the roads are on the agenda.
