We were blessed with a beautiful cool morning with plenty of sunshine for a great day for service at Magnolia....There seems to be several of the Magnolia family that are still up NORTH and yet to come to their winter home in deep south Texas, but at least our numbers are slowly growing each Sunday...We had 37 for service this morning to hear the message for this week.....Pastor Stacey brought the message from the Book of Acts, Chapter 2 with the theme of "The Presence of God"....In this lesson it told of how when the believers of God came together to worship and learn of God's teaching that the presence of God came upon them and they were filled with the Holy Spirit...What happened then surprised other Jews from other nations that were staying in Jerusalem...You must read and study this lesson for yourselves and learn what the presence of God can do in the lives of believers when we pray and seek God in our lives....Remember God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.....
Remember to continue to pray for the sick as prayer is very powerful and can change lives....God Bless All.....See you in church next week......
This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family.
