This morning was the first service of the New Year and it was a great start for sure...A good attendance with several members of the Magnolia Family coming in for the season...Pastor Stacey gave a great message this morning...He said that this was going to be the start of a series of teaching...The theme this morning "Looking for Jesus" came from the Book of John , chapter 20....We should all take a look at our selves and just how we should be looking for Jesus...Something for us all to consider...
Of course being the first Sunday of the month , Communion was given and breakfast was served after the service for all that wished to participate....I must say that it was very good and filling...Hats off to the cooks ...
Please remember to continue to pray for all those that are sick and those that are still on the road...If you think of someone, say a prayer for them at that time for we don't always know just when someone needs one for guidance in their lives....GOD BLESS ALL...
This blogs sole purpose has transitioned to one of keeping in touch with each other. Over the years it has been primarily for letting everyone know what is happening and also for promotion to add more folks to our Winter Texan family. The core of things has changed and we must change along with it. We still want to know what is happening with our friends no matter where they may be located.
